Launching Octa Voice: the omnichannel AI platform we wanted to use ourselves.

June 8, 2026 · 5 min read

Today we're publicly launching Octa Voice, an omnichannel AI platform that handles voice calls, web chat, SMS, and WhatsApp from a single brain. One knowledge base. One prompt. Every channel.

We didn't set out to build "another chatbot." We set out to fix something that was driving us crazy.

The problem: three chatbots in a trench coat

If you're a small business or a growing SaaS company today, here's what you have to do to "be everywhere your customers are":

You end up with three or four AI systems that don't talk to each other, three different prompts to keep in sync, three sets of analytics that don't add up, and three vendors to fight with when something breaks. We've watched friends and customers do this. It is miserable.

What we wanted instead

One platform. One knowledge base. One prompt. Every channel.

A customer calls your phone and asks for hours? Same answer they'd get on the chat widget. Same answer they'd get over WhatsApp. Same answer at 2am.

A customer starts a conversation on chat, then calls in to finish it? The AI remembers what they asked. Smart context switching.

Your AI hits a question it doesn't know how to answer? It hands off to a real human, with full conversation history, sentiment, and intent, through a multi-agent dashboard your team is already comfortable with.

Most AI platforms ask you to write a system prompt. We ask for a URL.

The 60-second onboarding

Have you ever tried to write a 1500-word prompt that captures your business's tone, services, FAQs, edge cases, and policies? It's miserable.

So we did this instead: paste your website URL. We scrape your site, summarize it with Claude, and write the entire system prompt + knowledge base + service catalog for you. In about 60 seconds. Then you can edit anything you want, but most people don't need to.

We built this because we kept rage-quitting other platforms when we tried to set them up. If we hated it, you'd hate it.

What's in the box today

Who it's for

We're starting with three groups where the pain is loudest:

What's next

We have a roadmap. We're going to ship a lot of it. We're not going to spoil it here. But we will say this: the platform is built. It's running in production. It's handling real conversations for real customers right now, including a medical center using it for FHIR-backed patient scheduling.

If you want to see what it does, take the 5-minute product tour — you can talk to the AI right in your browser.

If you want to try it yourself, sign up for early access. It's free. We'll get you live in minutes.

Thanks for reading.
